Who we are
Hi!
I'm Sarah, one of the founders. My husband Evan and I started Almost Perfect because I couldn't find underwear that was cute, comfortable, and breathable. Which shouldn't be that hard… but everything seemed to have a trade-off: it looks cute but it digs in, or it’s stretchy but it’s not breathable. We don’t like to compromise and we’re problem solvers by nature, so we spent over a year developing our own. Countless fabrics, countless samples and one very patient husband later we landed on micro-modal underwear that's (actually) perfect. It’s soft, it breathes, and it fits comfortably.
Why the name? I've spent a lot of my life trying to get every single thing right. Lately, I’ve come to realize that seeking perfection in all aspects of life just doesn’t work. We’re all a little messy sometimes. We’ve all been late. We’ve all said the wrong thing. We’ve all left a pile of clothes on the floor for a few more days than is reasonable. And you know what? We’re all trying, we’re all crushing it… we’re all almost perfect.
